Fiil T1X True Wireless Headset
Sounds good at a moderate price
David Carnoy / CNET
The Fiil T1X wireless headset delivers very good sound for the money range – there’s a slight boost in the presence in the treble for added clarity, both good and bad. They fit my ears and I was impressed by how fast the buds pair with my phone. It’s a great idea for a great dad.
They have an IP65 water and sweat resistance rating so they can be continuously sprayed with water. Battery life is about five hours on a single charge at higher volume, and there’s a quick charge feature that gives you two hours of juice after just 10 minutes of charging. Simple, fairly compact charging box that charges via USB-C. The buds have touch controls and have a companion app that lets you adjust the sound with EQ settings (I left it at default settings).

Adding a clock to the front of Amazon’s most affordable smart speaker doesn’t sound like a great upgrade – except that it really is. And now this version of Echo Dot is back at its lowest price ever, down from its list price of $ 60. Read the Amazon Echo Dot review with our (3rd generation) watches.
Lenovo smart watch
Smart speakers support timing
Chris Monroe / CNET
Normally $ 60, the Lenovo SmartWatch is a unique gift that’s currently on sale for just under $ 50. It has the on-board Google Assistant, a USB port on the back to charge your phone, plus there’s no built-in camera, so it’s more welcome in the bedroom, and the perfect way to stay on time. .
Mini Bluetooth speaker
If you don’t want an Alexa microphone in your house, choose a “mute” wireless speaker. EarFun Go costs $ 40 and delivers good sound thanks to its compact size, with just enough bass and volume to make you think you’re listening to a significantly louder speaker. This Father’s Day gift idea is also completely waterproof and has up to 25 hours of battery life at moderate volume (charging via USB-C). Two of these can be connected wirelessly to create a stereo pair and a great gift.
For $ 10 more, you can get EarFun’s Boom ($ 50), which is also a solid value. It sounds a little better, but I prefer the design of Go.
Aukey 20,000 mAh Portable Charger USB-C Power Bank
Excellent value high capacity rechargeable battery
Aukey’s 20,000 mAh power bank is relatively thin for the size of the battery and includes one USB-C port and three USB-A ports along with a Micro-USB port (you can charge the battery with either a USB-C or Micro cable. USB cable. With a total output of 3 amps, you can charge one USB-C device and three USB-A devices simultaneously. The USB-C port will drain 3 amps of power automatically if you connect only one device with it.

But that’s not true of older TVs, and even newer TVs don’t have all the top new services, like Disney Plus. If you are looking to give that old TV a new life, then this device is the perfect gift for Father’s Day. Read our Roku Streaming Stick Plus review.
Anker Soundcore Life P2
Sticky buds for under $ 50
David Carnoy / CNET
At half the price of Anker’s acclaimed Soundcore Liberty Air 2 with similar features, the Soundcore Life P2 in-ear headphones are a good value for money for a great gift. The buds charge horizontally in their case rather than vertically and feel a bit cheaper for both the case and buds than the Liberty Air 2. Their sound doesn’t have the enhancement in treble like these Liberty Air 2 buds, so they don’t sound clear with well-recorded tracks and the bass isn’t clearly defined. However, they are warmer and more forgiving, which I appreciate, besides that they sound more like the original Liberty Air. Read our Soundcore Life P2 review.
