If you are a Shipping Company or a Recruitment Agency IMCVS.COM will  be invaluable

Once you have completed the short Registration process you will be issued with a Password and USER ID to give you access to your IMCVS Company File.     This file will store details such as the Company address as well as Contact and Email information, and from it you will have access to the various facilities Registration offers, such as....

• Advertising your job vacancies for FREE!

can publish your job vacancy by completing a short online form

• ONE CLICK and your advert is 'live' on our website - and visible to hundreds of potential candidates
• alternatively simply phone, fax or email your job vacancy to us and IMMS can enter it for you.

• Registration provides you with a great way to find the most suitable candidates for your Job by enabling you to search through the " Availables ",,  ----  a list of those seafarers who have placed a WEB-AD to show that they are currently available and actively seeking employment.  
• Also because Seafarers can use  DAS .. (our unique Direct Application System. ) ~ they can easily advise you of their interest in any of the Job/s you have advertised on the website just by clicking on a button on the Job Ad itself.     You can then view the current responses to each of your job vacancies via your Registration File.
           When the seafarer uses DAS he can, at the same time, elect to email his/her interest to you and attach a CV as well as the link to his registered details
• The seafarer's registered details contain contact information, bio-data, work history and certificate details as well as comments to accompany his application. (You can view applicants’ records in summary and detail.)
• You can choose among several methods of reply all of which are designed to save you time and yet provide flexibility in your response.
• AND you can alter and update your own File records as well.
• THE COST  - NOTHING !

There are two methods of Company Registration:

And for Seafarers 

 With Full Membership you can access all the job hunting facilities we have to offer - such as....

1. You can Apply direct to shipping companies using our unique DAS .. Direct Application System.
   This system allows you to view all the Jobs advertised on our Website in their entirety and, if you see one which you are interested in and are qualified for* then just by the click of a button , your job application is instantly available for the Shipping Company to view.     Also, if you have an EMAIL address you can attach a message and a CV to your application...but even without your own email address the company will still be sent an email advising them of your candidature and providing them with a link to your IMCVS file.

2. Advertise your Professional Services and Availability on line.
   
   Using this system you can place a 'Webad' on the internet.  You just fill in a simple form showing the type of position you are seeking..(Master Chief Engineer Shore based etc) - some information about your experience - add up to 500 characters of text for whatever you wish to say - and instantly you are telling Shipping Companies, agencies etc. that you are available for employment.  All our Registered Shipping Companies can then search through the Webads when they have a position to fill....and your WebAd will be amongst those they'll see! Links to your IMCVS file and your Email address are provided also .. at your discretion!
   
   The cost for this?... FREE if you are a member of the CLUB.
   Even if you are not you can still place an add that stays current for 4 weeks for just £10 GBP sterling.

3. Last, but by no means least, you can use our EMAIL Suite
     Again a link to your IMCVS file is provided but for this service you do need an EMAIL address.

Here you can 

1. Choose up to 10 companies  from a multi list of Shipping Companies who you feel might be interested in receiving your CV.. 

2. Send an email message and your CV attachment to each one ...just at the click of a button. 

3. Provide each of them with a link to your IMCVS File.

Also included in full membership YOU CAN

– Use our maintained, easy-to-use database system to 

….. KEEP your sea service records up to date

….. KEEP your certificate details up to date

…...KEEP your Bio-Data , passport , phone contacts

all there for you to access and allow – at your discretion – Shipping Companies to access also!!!

And OF COURSE  ---- you maintain your registration and links with International Marine Manning Services who will, as they have always done,- continue in the quest to place you where the JOBS are.

REMEMBER - if you were previously Registered with IMMS then it is almost certain that you can gain access to your Registration File.  Just click on the appropriate button in the Seafarer's Section. to check if you are registered and to obtain your User ID and Password.

    IMMs was started back in 1990 and is an organization dedicated to satisfying both the needs of our Registered seafarers & Shipping Companies who have job vacancies to fill.

         The aim of I.M.M.S. is to provide both the Seafarer and our client companies with an effective and efficient service combining technology and years of up front experience  to guarantee the best possible results.
